Notes

The Merry Hispidus has two possible variants with different spawn conditions, however, the base stats are shared.

A maximum of three Merry Hispidus can be active at one time.

Note that "Increased Dodge Chance" does not have any effect on Melee and Mindforce weapons.

The Merry Hispidus has both a long ranged projectile-based attack as well as a regular close ranged attack.

Buff Elite

Every five minutes in the Mayhem Assault instance a "Buff Elite" Merry Hispidus will spawn which grants itself and all other creatures in the instance the following buffs:
  • 100% Increased Dodge Chance
  • 15% Increased Max Health

In order to remove this buff the Hispidus must be killed. Multiple Buff Elites can be alive at once, however, the buff they grant the other creatures does not appear to stack.

Elite

Every 20 Merry Daikiba kills an "Elite" Merry Hispidus will spawn which has a 400% Increased Dodge Chance buff, upon being killed the following buffs are granted:
  • 10% Increased Damage for 20 seconds, followed by 5% Increased damage for 20 seconds
  • 'Shield Penetration for 60 seconds which allows the Merry Hoggloto be damaged up to 20% of its maximum health.
